North Point Church’s new release North Point En Vivo (Live) Con (With) Seth Condrey is a masterful live worship recording. Worship leader Seth Condrey and his team have done a wonderful job of making familiar worship songs and arrangements, such as “Poderoso Dios” (“Everlasting God”), “Cantare” (“Let Me Sing”) and “Gloria a Dios” (“Glory to God”), available to Spanish speaking congregations. When I think of “creative” churches, I think of North Point Church. They do cutting-edge things to introduce people to Christ. This project is certainly one more tool to accomplish that goal.

Worship leaders looking for songs to introduce to Spanish speaking congregants will find an invaluable resource here. It is a great mix of slow, mid, and up-tempo songs that are very singable and congregationaly friendly. The album carries the sound and feel of previously recorded North Point projects, yet Condrey and his team’s heart and passion come across uniquely on this project with songs like “De Corazon a Corazon,” one of Condrey’s originals and definitely a standout track. There are also a couple of Portuguese tracks, which add a unique sound and creativity to the album.

More: The arrangements on North Point En Vivo Con Seth Condrey sound very similar to previously recorded North Point Live worship projects. The difference is that the lyrics are in Spanish and Seth Condrey is leading the songs.

Less: A future enhancement for a North Point Spanish project could be to include different worship leaders to lead songs. For example, one of the highlights of North Point’s Live worship project, Awake, is that it included Seth Condrey, Eddie Kirkland, Ryan Stuart, Steve Fee, and Cori Moon leading different songs.
