Edwin (Ed) M. Willmington (D.M.A.) is the Director of the Fred Bock Institute of Music in the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts, and Composer-in-Residence at Fuller Theological Seminary. He served as Pastor of Worship and Arts at Scottsdale Bible Church in Arizona for 22 years, where his leadership influenced and trained multiple generations of worship leaders. Prior to his ministry in Scottsdale, he was a professor of Music at Point Loma Nazarene University and was Pastor of Worship Ministries at College Avenue Baptist Church, both in San Diego, CA. Ed has served as a publishing editor, as a part of a hymnal compilation committee, and published numerous compositions for use in church worship. He also filled the role of composer/conductor for the Lausanne Evangelism gathering in Cape Town, South Africa in 2010. Ed’s current position enables h im to mentor, teach, hold conferences, lead worship events, and compose in the setting of a theological seminary, where he enjoys sharing his experiences and continuing to learn.
