Filled with encouraging music that is catchy and authentic, Matt McCoy’s Shine is all heart. The production is immediate with a summer camp feel—listeners might feel like they are sitting in the Campus Crusade event where it was recorded. Only five songs long, this EP will hit the heart of worship leaders because there is a vulnerability that can’t be manufactured. McCoy has penned five songs that are prayers a congregation can call their own.

More: McCoy’s authenticity and the lack of pretension are the highlights of this EP—perfect for team-driven worship music.
Less: It’s kind of nice that we have only the necessary songs, but a couple more would have been a bonus.
