Author and Editor, producer and songwriter, Andrea Hunter is Director of Creative and Publishing Services at Worship Leader magazine. With an emphasis on devotional and congregational music, Andrea Hunter has produced four concept albums, including the seminal prayer and worship album Intercessor, and Jeremy Riddle’s first full-length album Beautiful Jesus, which garnered a slot on Song DISCovery’s Vol. 41 with “To Bow and To Kiss.” She has co-written with Elliot Wolff, Kerry Chater, Marty Goetz, Jeremy Riddle, Wendell Burton, Jeanette Hawes, Robbie Seay, Byran MacLean, Brandon Rodriguez, among many others and has just completed production on Imago DEI: Jes(us) featuring new artists Misha Goetz, Aaron Encinas and Brandon Rodriguez, and mainstays Robbie Seay, Chelsea Ward, Stefanie Kelly, Jay Leach, Sarah McCarty and Ramon Stagnaro.
Andrea worked at Warner Bros. Records and affiliated labels for 13 years, briefly as West Coast Publicity Manager and subsequently as Director of Media Information Services/ Worldwide Communications. During that time, she co-founded Hearts Against Racism & Prejudice (HARP) with artist Kirk Whalum, and received the 1999 Heiskell Award (for contributions to equal opportunity and human rights) from Time/Warner.
