As an award-winning singer, actor, producer, and experienced speaker and recording artist, JAVEN demonstrates his many talents with his new release, Worship in the Now. This high energy, gospel/urban pop album overflows with exuberance, praise, and fervent worship. JAVEN’s impeccable vocals lead a glorious choir, which sparkles with rich harmonies and sheer intensity. This brilliant album debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart. “Majesty/Precious Lamb” is a beautiful and sweet arrangement of Jack Hayford’s “Majesty,” showing off JAVEN’s originality and creativity. JAVEN incorporates a few older originals such as “None Like You” and “Fresh Oil” in this live recording. Title track, “Worship in the Now,” and “My Time to Praise,” add a sense of cohesiveness to the project, while “Come Together” and “Lift Me Up” add excitement and momentum to the praise-filled album.

JAVEN’s extensive career has seen him on BET, in off-Broadway musicals, film, and full-time worship leading. He balances all of his many talents with integrity and excellence. JAVEN recently introduced the Worship in the Now seminar, featuring speakers and pastors promoting successful living and spiritual growth. JAVEN’s book, “100 Things You Need to Know in Life” is due out this year.

More: JAVEN’s single, “Worshiper in Me” is a modern gospel song with clean vocals, a fresh, uplifting harmonic structure, and moments of fervent worship. His lyric writing and exuberant worship is contagious and uplifting.

Less: JAVEN’s intricate vocals and intense worship leading style may be difficult to emulate, but his passion for worship shines through in his songwriting and singing. An experienced gospel choir would make this music come alive in a worship setting.
