Most of your favorite Passion Conference worship leaders are back with another big, bright outpouring of already or soon-to-be worship standards from this year’s final conference at the old Georgia Dome. Following up-tempo opener “Glorious Day,” they settle into an album of mostly slow, gigantic anthems with lyrics that major on the cross, resurrection, and our consecration as believers for a life of praise and service.
The title cut is a standout, with a high Christology that begins with colorful descriptions of the incarnation (“Holiness with human hands”) and moves into the wonders of Christ’s atonement and his victory over death. “Forgiven” paints a vivid scene of the crucifixion, where we are the villains and the forgiven (“God, I fall down to my knees / With a hammer in my hand”).
Sounds Like: Does Passion really sound like anyone, or is it everyone else who sounds like Passion? This is their patented sound, deviating neither to the left nor to the right.
Most Singable: “Build My Life”
Strongest Biblical: “Worthy of Your Name”
