Review by Darryl Bryant

From the traditional “All Hail King Jesus” to the title track “More” Jeremy Riddle has a clear vision for this well-produced homage to worship. As both a songwriter and singer his experience as a worship leader and pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California comes bursting through. “More” is addictive with pulsing rhythms and drones. The well-placed power drums are vintage and compliment the muted guitars with contemporary accents that have crossover appeal. “Even If” (All the More) reminds the listener that the fifth studio album from Jeremy carries a cutting-edge vibe that weaves its way through this project with the tranquility of a freight train. This is Jeremy’s first solo album in about seven years and with production credits from Ran Jackson, Ricky Jackson and Nicolas Balachandran the music arrangements and orchestration are flawless with a perfect blend of electronic and acoustic instruments.

It is important to mention that there is a British vibe that enunciates many of the vocal riffs and verses throughout the album that is both engaging and mesmerizing. “It Only Gets Stronger” is a perfect example of this and helps to balance out ballads like “Overwhelming” and “Holy Ground” that are more traditional Riddle fare. Arguably, More is Jeremy Riddles’ best work and elevates him as a solo artist in the pantheon of worship icons with a message, ministry, and melodies that make this a standout project for radio and the sanctuary. Hopefully, there will not be another seven years between solo projects and Jeremy Riddle proves that a timely release is the collective evidence that it only gets stronger!
