This past year’s experiences should be a chance to truly assess the level of congregational participation we have fostered in sung worship. As we reopen to in-person services, how can we recapture, reinvigorated and remind His Church of the value of our gathered “voice”? How can we avoid slipping further into a performance-based show that our congregation passively watches? How do we bring the Body back together and reaffirm the imperative of their voice – singing prays and praises and reminders of God’s truth an as expression of worship?
