Music Review | “Sound of The House” By Austin & Lindsey Adamec

Welcome to the home of Austin and Lindsey Adamec.  This is a place where the Lord is worshiped and folks are invited to fall in love with Jesus.  It is also the place where the 8 track, live Sound of the House album was beautifully recorded.  It is a place where an inspired worship service was captured to be shared with the world.

Drawn together after having separate pursuits in Nashville, this husband and wife worship leading team reside in their home state of Florida where they have taken their ministry into prisons and public pavilions.  After protests at one of the pavilions, the Adamecs decided to bring the sound to their house and provide a safe place for intimate worship for their community. 

The highlight of the album is “Can’t Deny It,” an anthem written after the duo watched a friend struggle with running away from God.  “I can’t deny it, I can’t deny it / this love that’s comin’ after me.”  “All My Searchings Over” continues the proclamation of what God does in the changed life.  Sound of the House also includes the scripture based, “As for Me and my House” and the promise infused “You Keep Your Word.”

More: Strong vocal harmonies, stripped down instrumentals, and thought-provoking lyric combine to make this live album come to life.

Less: Sound of the House does not include some of the normal drawbacks seen in many live albums, and it will be interesting to see what the Adamecs will do with a studio offering.
