There’s a lot going on in the world. I’d like to know what’s working and what’s not working for your online gatherings? What might you be supplementing in person gatherings with?

Our in person gatherings are now banned. We’re hitting as many bases as we can to encourage online engagement within our church.

    1) daily facebook live devotions from one of our pastors (four of us taking turns). One in the morning, soon to be doing afternoon devos too.

    2) we’ve recorded the lesson component of our Lifegroups, as well as acoustic worship, and we broadcast that live on Thursday nights for members of our groups to view in their homes.

    3) we live stream our weekend worship service (filmed before a very limited live audience, total of less than 10 people including production crew and stage team) and broadcast that via Facebook live and Youtube live on Sunday morning, with all members of our ministry team that would normally be serving scheduled on PCO to participate with engaging with viewers on social media, post links to resources as they are discussed, and moderate discussion.

    4) we’re also encouraging people to schedule time to pick up the phone and reach out personally to other church members, take care of needs, and look in on one another within reasonable limits.
