Music Review | “Never Stop Singing” By Cross Point Music

Cross Point Music, the worship team of Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee, exists to offer the church the songs they need to sing in specific seasons of their ministry.

For this current season, that song has been “Never Stop Singing,” an anthem that declares our persistent praise regardless of circumstances.

“Something happens when we praise You / Heaven opens when we lift our voice / our melody is a mighty weapon / never stop singing,” the bridge proclaims.

Led by Stefan Cashwell and backed by a choir of Cross Point’s vocalists, the song is a powerful statement of the church’s response to crisis and hardship—a statement that feels particularly poignant for their congregation following not only the pandemic, but also the aftermath of the Nashville tornadoes that destroyed part of Cross Point’s buildings.

The beautiful thing about worship is that, though this song was written with a specific church body in mind, it’s relevant and impactful to everyone who hears it. Sure to encourage listeners who are feeling weary in their faith, “Never Stop Singing” is a well-timed battle-cry of praise.
