Charles Billingsley: Final Words of a Dying Man

The Christian life is a fight against a never ending struggle with evil. It is not an earthly military campaign...

Finish the Race and Keep the Faith

Can you imagine being in jail and knowing that you are “at the end of your journey?” Paul was awaiting his death and looking back at his life and taking stock when he wrote 2 Timothy. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 This episode is an encouragement to all Believers to finish the race and keep the faith. Charles encourages listeners to first recognize that there’s a daily battle going on for your soul. Put on the armor daily. Next, to run towards the presence of God and live in the moment with the Holy Spirit as your guide. Keep the faith and let’s not leave this world with regrets, but instead, run the race for Christ as if each day is your last so we can “finish well.”
