Sadie Robertson Huff has launched a new endeavor, LO WORSHIP, encompassing a record label and publishing group, and introducing a new band by the same name, comprised of worship leaders Brantley Pollock (Church of the City, Franklin TN), Kaylea Mayo (Christ Church, West Monroe, LA) and Cazaiah Franklin (Nashville, TN).  The first single from LO WORSHIP, “Compass,” written by Pollock, Mayo and Robertson Huff, is premiering today exclusively with Worship Leader.

“I started LO Worship because I wanted write songs that support the messages that Live Original is already sharing  – that one encounter with Jesus can change everything,” Robertson Huff says. “People don’t always remember a 40 minute sermon — but they do remember a song! I wanted to help people find the words to sing over themselves in hard times. Worship has always done that for me. LO Worship is group of friends, songwriters and musicians that I have gathered to together to use their gifting to write songs, which magnify Jesus and lead people to that encounter with Him.

It was such a God thing how we all came together. I had been wanting and even trying to start LO worship for a few years now, but it wasn’t the right timing. Kaylea was an old friend whom I hadn’t seen in years that had just gotten back from Hillsong college in Sydney. We decided to have coffee and next thing we know I’m sharing the vision of LO worship. I saw Brantley leading at an event we were both at and shared with him the vision. After the two of them were all in we had a worship night for friends to pray for this new thing and Caz came to the worship night. After he saw what was going on, he wanted in. So cool how God’s timing just works out.

The story behind ‘Compass’ comes from a message I preached at Passion City Church at the beginning of 2020. I shared on the passage in Matthew 14, when Jesus called Peter to walk on water.  My point of the message, was that although we crave to have vision, that vision is not always given to us. In fact, in this story, Peter didn’t have vision — but He heard Jesus say ‘come’ and so He walked on the water.

I wanted us to shake off the expectation that 2020 was going to be ‘the year of vision’ and preach that we need faith before the vision….Turns out that couldn’t have been more true. His word alone will be the vision when we cannot see.”

LO Worship will join Robertson Huff for her Spring 2021 Ministry Events.
