Music Review | “Clouds Are Clearing – Mixtape 1A” By SEU Worship
Breaking through the grays of winter is the newest release from the Sunshine State’s SEU Worship, Clouds are Clearing -Mixtape 1A. As the name implies, this release is chocked full of everything a hip-hop/electronica believer would need for their next Bible study group. This full-length mixtape features a consortia of worshipers who lead with praise that is vocally tight and emphatic with uplifting lyrics against a backbeat that would make DJ Maj proud.
To enhance the overall experience, SEU Worship has included lyric video for 4 of the tracks, “After Your Heart,” “Pieces,” “Higher Than Mine” and “Open Up Heaven.”
A companion album, Clouds are Clearing – Mixtape 1B is to be released soon.
More: Believers who love this genre will find an outlet for their style of music that is every bit as engaging as the music of the club scene, without the negative side effects.
Less: To those who may be casual listeners or experiencing Christian Hip-Hop/Electronica for the first time, some of the tracks may begin to sound the same.
