When Jordan Smith first took the stage on season 9 of NBC’s The Voice in 2016, his powerhouse vocal and captivating personality made him an immediate frontrunner in the competition. Throughout his time on the show, Smith boldly displayed his faith and continued to shine with an authentic spirit that resonated with viewers. After winning the show, Jordan went on to release his debut single “Stand In The Light,” followed by two full-length studio albums and a Christmas record.
Recently signed with Provident Label Group/Sony Music, this next step in Jordan’s career places his faith center stage in a season that sees him living out his “lifelong dream” to make music for the church.
The first of that new music from Smith is the single “Great You Are,” which boasts an anthemic chorus that declares the greatness of God: “I won’t let a breath go by / and miss the chance to lift You high / let everything I am declare the story of how great You are.”
With an invitation to join in praise for all God has done, the single is fitting for both personal and congregational settings alike and is only the beginning of the worship moments Smith is excited to share with the church.
