Song Story: Light After Dark

“LIGHT AFTER DARKNESS”
“Weeping may remain for a night, but joy arrives in morning’s new light. I’ll praise the God of merciful plight; still I will praise him, still I will praise him.”
Hope is sometimes hard to come by. This song does a great job of validating that truth while pointing toward the hope that is found in Jesus. Darkness, loss, weakness, crosses, bitterness, fear, wandering, tears, sowing, rain, mystery, pain, sorrow, blasts, weariness, distance, gloom, loneliness, tombs, agony AND light, gain, strength, crowns, sweetness, hope, home, praise, sheaves, sun, sight, peace, joy, calm, rest, nearness, gleam, love, life, bliss.
Let us keep these comforting words of our Savior close, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” May we always hold fast to our hope in Light After Darkness.
