Summer 2019 Must-Haves Playlist!

The heat is on and with school out, swimming pools open, and visions of sandy getaways tempting us from our office, cubicle, or VBS carpool lane, we know there’s one way guaranteed to deliver summer vibes at any time, in any place–music! That’s why we decided to curate our own list of summer 2019 tunes. These new releases, from individual artists, churches, and others, are guaranteed to create an ideal summer soundtrack for times of personal and corporal worship, meditation, celebration, and more!

We’ll be adding to the list throughout the summer. But here’s a couple to get us going!

What began as a spontaneous meeting around a living room piano has become one of the most energetic, fresh additions to worship music you are likely to come across this or any summer. Born out of Nashville Life Church, helmed by Pastor Alvin Love and CeCe Winans Love, the collective at the heart of Taylor House Sessions, Nashville Life Music, has indisputably created a worship experience that will have you rolling down your windows, lifting your hands, and singing out loud for the whole carpool to hear.

The first recorded project from Thrive Worship, out of Bayside Church in Sacramento, California, A Thousand More is comprised of eleven original worship songs, reflecting the diversity of the congregation the collective serves, as well as the makeup of the musicians themselves. With styles ranging from gospel to pop to congregational, A Thousand More is a colorful, meaningful, spirit-filled essential for any summer playlist.

Don’t worry! We’ve got plenty more albums to add to our summer hit-list. Got any favorites of your own? New or old, please share in the comments down below!
