Positive Complaints Only: An Easy Thanksgiving Service Idea

Every year it seems like Thanksgiving is once again left out in the cold as we prepare for Christmas. Could it be that Thanksgiving is something we should be doing every day of the week? How do we differentiate giving thanks from any other day of the week? Here’s an idea that is budget friendly and helps remind folks that Thanksgiving is still important.

Is it possible? A positive complaints only movement? We think so and here’s a way to start it.

Whether it be Facebook, Instagram or some other form that you engage with your congregation – let’s use it! Create a simple graphic and ask your congregants to start tagging folks with a positive complaint about them. Start with your worship team and let the positive complaints only campaign catch fire! Feature some of the stand out positive complaints throughout the month of November.
