Function: Portable Audio System
Overview: Here at WL Magazine, we’re huge fans of Fishman audio preamps and acoustic processors, so you can imagine how excited we were to get our hands on the Fishman SA330x Performance Audio System! The Fishman SA330x is packed with features yet easy to use, and we were completely set up, making a sound in less than 5 minutes. Light enough to carry with one hand, but loud enough to easily fill a medium-sized room, the SA330x is an ideal audio system for versatility and portability.
Specifics: Out of the box, the SA330x includes a soft, padded gig bag for the system and a tripod stand and mounting pole. The SA330x is about 3 ½ feet tall and stands around 5-6 feet on the tripod. Using a uniquely configured 2-way speaker system, the SA330x combines six 4” mid-woofers and one 1” tweeter to provide 330W of power. Capable of an impressive 113dB SPL, SA330x is incredibly loud for its size. The sound from the SA330x easily fills any small or medium-sized room, and its low-profile design makes it easy to carry and setup on the fly. SA330x has 2 XLR/TRS” combo inputs that feature Fishman preamps, 3 band EQ, phantom power, pad, low-cut, phase reverse, and anti-feedback notch on each channel. Four types of reverb are included with individual levels for each channel with an aux in and monitor in rounding out the inputs. On the back panel of the SA330x, there are 2 XLR outs, 1 subwoofer out, 1 monitor out, and a post fader out which is useful for recording purposes. Optional accessories to the SA330x include the 300W Fishman SA Sub (Fishman offers an optional mounting pole) and the SA Expand Channel Expander, which is powered by the SA330x with one cable and adds 4 channels inputs (totaling six channels).
